This website was created by a group of teens who had trouble getting information about their HRT. The creators wanted to provide a accesible way to get more information about HRT to fellow trans and nonbinary teens who have struggled to get a straight answer about hormone replacement therapy.
Hi! I’m P and I’m a 18 year old trans guy. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and thrifting/DIYing clothes. I contributed to this website by helping write the content. Shoutout to J who built the website and is the coolest person on the planet frfr 🎉💪
Haiii! I am J, a nonbinary nerd who likes cute stuff (like my boyfriend P). I contributed by doing all the website nerdy stuff and editing some of the content. Also P is being modest in his bio, he did a ton of work to make this website a reality and I really admire him and the work he has put into this!
The goal of this website is to help as many people with their transition as possible while doing so in an inclusive way. For those of you who are not aware, HRTeens is only the second DIY HRT resource created explicitly for teenagers. The first, HRT4ALL, was created by another trans teenager. While his website has been helpful for many peoples’ transitions, he believes that only binary trans people should have access to HRT. He has attempted to stop non-binary people from accessing his resources, and "S" was forced to lie to him about her gender identity in order for him to give her advice. Here at HRTeens, we believe that everyone who requires HRT to alleviate their dysphoria should be allowed access to it, regardless of their gender.
